To support General Practice in Fife there are 4 protected learning dates/sessions for 2025 ( from 1pm - 6pm). These are detailed below:
Tuesday 25th March 2025 
Wednesday 18th June 2025     
Thursday 18th September 2025
Tuesday 11th November 2025
 
During these afternoons the Urgent Care Services Fife will provide urgent care and support to patients of practices which are closed.  If your condition is life threatening then please dial 999. Alternatively, if you require Urgent Care between these hours, patients should call 01592 729250  for assistance. After 6 pm, please call NHS 24 on 111. Please note that your GP surgery will resume usual working hours on the following days from the protected learning dates/sessions".

Fife Out of Hours service will be providing their usual emergency cover for this period as is normal for Public Holidays.

As a summary....

⭐ If your life is in danger or you have an emergency such as a suspected heart attack, stroke, bleeding, collapse etc - call 999 as normal.

⭐ In a non life threatening emergency, call Out of Hours on 111

⭐ Your local PHARMACIST is still available for advice and care as normal, with free prescriptions available under the Minor Ailments Scheme.

⭐ For all other requests and enquiries please call the surgery on the following day, after 8.30am
